Please think before you blame others, online racing is intense and very competitive and stressful at times, accidents are part of the racing experience and often caused by lag, competitors inattention due to a home phone ringing, family members interrupting them and such things as they cannot control.

The most obvious rule is: No careless driving. Always show respect for your fellow racers. Be careful. Show some patience. Understand the limitations of your program and drive accordingly. Driving online in a racing sim is NOT exactly the same as real life racing in every respect, and in some cases online sim racing requires even more care.

Perhaps the most important rule is: No running into the car ahead of you. The onus is on the behind driver to take all necessary care and responsibility not to run into an ahead driver.

Please read over and over again. This basically means keep back in first corner after a start, so you know you have room if they misjudge the turn and its your fault if you run into them, learn patience and remember we are not racing for sheep stations!

The MNR Rules are there to ensure that everyone from the newcomer to the experienced racer is able to enjoy the night. If you believe another racer is not adhering to the stated rules, a protest form is available on the same page.

Registered Drivers are also reminded to check that the email address associated with their forum username is current and correct, as it is a requirement in order to receive the race mails, typically sent out Monday morning.

Should you find yourself unable to attend a particular race, or wishing to withdraw from the series, please let us know as soon as possible in the absentee register thread. Failure to do so may see you relegated to the reserves in future races.

When signing up, please indicate your exact LFS username if you are new to MNR, and if possible use a forum username similar to that. Please also indicate your team name if you are racing with a team.

For races that require a pit inside a window the following applies.
The stats application (LFSStat) will will be used as the determining factor for assesing whether a driver / team has complied with the pit window requirements.

The stats application defines the lap strictly by the start finish line. Which may mean that the pit boxes may be both before and / or after the start / finish line, particularly on reverse direction tracks or tracks with very long pit lanes.

It is the drivers / teams responsibility to make themselves aware of the location of the start / finish line and pit accordingly.

MNR now have their own section in Leagues & Events, you will find it under "Aussie Monday Night Racing League".
The AustralAsian League section is only for AAL racing stuff.
The Live For Speed Events Australia section is for the V8 supercar stuff.

Mate check out the Aussie servers, you will find league racing at www.ozbee-racing.com we cater for all levels, and will start handicapping soon. Get your s2 you wont regret it, we race nearly every Monday night.

In LFSEA they use the teams as per V8 supercars, which includes the skins. If you race in AAL or MNR you can use whatever skin you like, and even make up your own team. The only issue here is that the cars are always changing, only LFSEA use the same car over and over again. More info for all of the leagues can be found at their respective websites/forums. looking forward to seeing you on the track, practice or not.

What you are looking for is Live for Speed Events Australia (LFSEA) they use the cars available on LFS but put Aussie v8 supercar skins on them. They also try and model the racing around the same format as the real deal. They have a section in the league section here http://www.lfsforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=136 I don't think they have a lot of racing left this year, and they are unsure as to next years racing. Most of the guys on LFSEA can be found either here www.ozbee-racing.com or here http://www.australasianleague.com/. Come and check us out, we don't bite (well some of them do, but not hard).

This is a driver swap series, but a little different than before. This will be a Pro/Am driver swap series. A team will be made up of one driver from the Pro series and One driver from the Clubman Series. A thread will be created for drivers looking for partners. When signing up for this series WE WILL REQUIRE two names (one from each championship) and optional team name for the pairing. We will be happy for teams of more than two, however only two drivers per race.
These races will all be deemed Enduro's and will not go towards drivers seedings.

We have a Pro series for the quick and sometimes serious racers, and we also have a Clubman series for the drivers looking for some fun in their racing.
We are also developing a driver seeding list and looking towards some handicapped events.
Currently we are in the middle of a Pro/Am drivers swap series, and have a poll running to help decide the next car for the year.
Monday Night Racing is online nearly every Monday night, with qualifying at 9pm (AEDST)(NSW) and racing starting shortly thereafter. There is racing for all levels of talent.

ahhhh, finally I found it, have been looking for this section for a while.

I have found myself by default helping to run the Monday Night Racing League, and realised that we don not have a section for ourselves in this forum. In the past we have hijacked the Australasian section.

Could we formally aply for a section for "Aussie Monday Night Racing League" details can be found at www.mondaynightracing.com or www.ozbee-racing.com The Ozbee site is actually the more direct route to the forum, where all the good stuff is. If you need any more please let me know. The MNR league has been running for a number of years, and is now pretty much the only/main league left running in Australia.
